Bubbletro is an arcade puzzle game developed as part of a 5-person team for the Global Game Jam 2025, completed within the 3-day jam window. Built around the theme "Bubble", the game blends classic brick-breaking gameplay with roguelike progression — drawing inspiration from Peggle and Balatro.

Between rounds, players visit the Soap-A-Market to purchase Soapers — upgrades that enhance player stats and unlock new abilities, adding a layer of strategic decision-making to each run.

  • Projectile firing system and bullet physics
  • Win and lose condition logic
  • Colour-based shooting mechanic, allowing players to fire a range of coloured projectiles
  • Main menu implementation
