SOLO 10 WEEKS Unity

Infected Nations is a round-based survival shooter developed as a solo project over a 10-week college final. Inspired by the Zombies mode from Call of Duty, players survive escalating enemy waves while managing an in-game economy — spending earned points on weapons, upgrades, and perks to push for a higher round count.

Built entirely in Unity using C#, the project encompasses a range of interconnected gameplay systems, all designed and implemented independently within the timeframe:

  • Responsive player movement and camera controller
  • Weapon system with 6 unique weapons, each supporting 3 upgrade tiers
  • Perk system featuring 6 distinct perks with stackable stat and ability effects
  • 4 power-ups with unique in-game effects
  • Zombie AI with wave-based difficulty scaling
  • Blockout version of a map inspired by Nacht Der Untoten
  • Economy-driven weapon acquisition via wall-buys and a randomised mystery box

Due to the strong foundation built during development, Infected Nations is currently being redeveloped from the ground up for an eventual Steam release.
